AKIPRESS.COM - The in-patient facilities in Bishkek continue providing medical care to citizens, but the number of visits to these facilities is declining, Bishkek mayor's press office reported. The least number of visits to daytime in-patient facilities was recorded yesterday - 964 people. 173 people visited nighttime in-patient facilities overnight from August 4 to 5. Lethal cases were not registered.
84,689 people received support for a month of work of daytime in-patient facilities. Nighttime facilities served 8,688 citizens.
To optimize expenses and human resources, some of in-patient facilities with the least number of visits were put on hold. Particularly, in-patient facilities at Seitek school, School No. 95, School No. 83, School No. 81, School No. 94, Aral cafe were closed. The nighttime facility in Saltanat restaurant was closed as well.
The rest facilities keep functioning as before.
The medical teams were reduced to 137 people, including 40 doctors, 50 nurses, 30 janitors and volunteers.
