AKIPRESS.COM - Bishkek hospital #1 chief Jusup Boshkoev has been suspended from office, Health Ministry's spokesperson Ainura Akmatova said today.
The special commission investigates the issues raised by social media users concerning personal protective equipment handed over by volunteers.
The social media users accused the hospital chief of failure to distribute medical masks brought by volunteers among hospital workers. The hospital said later the masks were kept in the storage facility and they were supposed to be used after the hospital ran out of already existing masks.
Following investigation by the commission, Boshkoev was suspended from office. His deputy performs duties of hospital chief now.
Epidemiological investigation was launched in the hospital after one of its doctors reported about violations allowed in work by the hospital chief and inappropriate procedures in admitting patients.
