AKIPRESS.COM - Semetei observation facility on the territory of the former Ganci air base will become the infectious disease hospital outside Bishkek, Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov told a briefing today.
"The place was initially used as the observation facility. Then a 1,300 bed hospital for patients with communicable diseases and 50-bed intensive care unit was arranged there. The facility has all necessary equipment. Patients are treated there for 1.5-2 months already," the Prime Minister said.
The government plans to transform the Semetei facility into the infectious diseases hospital, the Prime Minister stated.
"This will be a special hospital for fight against communicable diseases with its own personnel," Boronov said.
