Bishkek court fines man accusing MP of illegal riches, demands him to refute his earlier posts

AKIPRESS.COM - Leninskiy district court partially sustained a claim of MP Kubanychbek Jumaliev against representative of Chon Kazat movement Syimyk Japykeyev.
The court fined Japykeyev in the amount of 10,000 soms for "publication of the information that does not correspond to reality and discredit honor and dignity of Jumaliev," his attorney Baktybek Jumashev told AKIpress.
The court demanded from the defendant to give refutation on his Facebook page, the attorney added.
Syimyk Japykeyev earlier said the property of oligarchs, officials should be nationalized, since they obtained their wealth unlawfully.
MP Jumaliev complained about Japykeyev's statements to police, saying the latter spreads false information about his property and millions of his family, which were allegedly obtained illegally. Japykeyev reportedly called citizens to seize property of Jumaliev.
The MP's complaint was registered over the calls for violence under the Criminal Code.
