Reduction in pneumonia cases reported in Talas region

AKIPRESS.COM - Reduction in pneumonia cases is observed in Talas region, regional hospital chief Nurdin Usupbekov said.
Each department of the hospital had special wards where patients with pneumonia were treated, he said.
Since June 9, 490 patients have been treated from pneumonia in the hospital. More than 400 recovered and left the hospital. Some of them died, he added.
"We used 6 departments for treatment of patients with pneumonia before, but now 3 departments were closed after bed occupancy dropped. This is a sign of reduction of cases," the hospital chief said.
