GDP of Kazakhstan falls 2.9% in 7 months

AKIPRESS.COM - The GDP of Kazakhstan fell 2.9% in 7 months of this year, Minister of National Economy Ruslan Dalenov said at the government meeting today.
"The production of goods grew by 2.1%, production of serviced dropped 6.2%. The GDP fell 2.9%," Minister Dalenov said.
The annual inflation made 7.1%, this is lower than the expected range of 8-8.5%.
Growth is reported in construction, processing industry, agriculture.
The Ministry of National Economy noted decline in output of services due to quarantine restrictions and planned oil production, which has become another factor restraining economic growth.
