World's first coronavirus vaccine registered in Russia

AKIPRESS.COM - President Vladimir Putin announced about registration of the first coronavirus vaccine in the world at the government meeting.
He said the vaccine has been registered this morning, Putin said.
"As far as I know the world's first novel coronavirus infection vaccine has been registered this morning," Putin said.
"I know it works effectively, forms durable immunity and passed all necessary checks," the President added.
The vaccine was developed by the Gamaleya Epidemiology and Microbiology Research Institute. The end of clinical trials was announced in early August. The vaccine will be supplied to healthcare organizations in the nearest time.
