Second person dies from bubonic plague in Mongolia

AKIPRESS.COM - A man has died from bubonic plague in Khovd aimag in Western Mongolia on August 11, news.mn reports. Jargalant somon of Khovd aimag is locked down.
Doctors say a 42-year-old man died because the plague infected his pituitary gland and his blood circulatory system was drained.
Local officials declared the third level of epidemiological danger. Somon Jargalant introduced measures to prevent and control infection spread.
It was reported earlier that a 15-year-old boy died from bubonic plague in Gov Altai aimag in the western part of Mongolia.
