AKIPRESS.COM - The Party of Communists of Kyrgyzstan told the Central Election Commission it refuses to run in the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 4, the Central Election Commission said.
The Central Election Commission considered the notification of the party at its meeting today.
Registration of authorized representatives of the Party of Communists was canceled. Their registration cards were invalidated.
The leader of the party is ex-MP Iskhak Masaliev.
44 parties told the Central Election Commission earlier they would run in the parliamentary elections.
