Ulaanbaatar administration to turn 2 landfills into parks

AKIPRESS.COM - Ulaanbaatar administration has announced the plan to clear landfills in Ulaan-Chuluut and Tsagaan-Davaa and turn them into green parks.
The rehabilitation of the landfill in Ulaan-Chuluut is in progress already. 5 companies signed contracts with Ulaanbaatar administration to complete greenery process within 2 months.
The project is estaimted at around $1 million.
Solid waste recycling plants will be built at the landfills by 2022.
