Kazakhstan to ease quarantine restrictions since Aug 17

AKIPRESS.COM - The Kazakh authorities will ease quarantine restrictions introduced to contain coronavirus since August 17.
The plan of gradual loosening of restrictions was approved by the state commission.
The daily cases dropped from 4% to 0.5%. 76% of infected people recovered from coronavirus. The average reproduction rate dropped to 0.78. Bed occupancy rate makes 26%.
Since August 17 the following businesses will reopen in all regions of the country:
- malls, shopping centers, retail chains, indoor markets;
- beauty and hair salons, spa centers;
- fitness centers without swimming pools;
- children's and adult training centers; provisional groups in kindergartens;
- outdoor amusement facilities.
Employers are recommended to keep remote work for at least 80% of employees.
Solo and group (no more than 5 people) outdoor sport exercises, exercises of national teams, club teams (no more than 30 people) are allowed since August 17.
Public transport will resume work since August 17.
Sport, family, and other mass events are still prohibited.
Bars, night and game clubs, karaoke, foorcourts, movie theaters, museums, exhibitions, swimming pools, public beaches, aqua parks, religious institutions will remain closed.
Intercity bus and train service will not be resumed yet.
The restrictions will be kept on weekends with the purpose of further stabilization of epidemiological situation.
