Epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan has stabilized - Russian medical professionals

AKIPRESS.COM - Epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan has stabilized and has the explicit downward trend, Russian Defense Ministry's Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Center Chief Eugen Spitsenko said at the meeting with President Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
Two groups of Russian medical professionals arrived in Kyrgyzstan in July. President Jeenbekov met with them on August 15 on occasion of completion of their mission.
Russian military doctors mainly worked with patients with severe and moderately severe forms of coronavirus at military hospitals in Bishkek and Osh.
Qualifications of local medical professionals and infrastructure provided for competent and effective treatment of patients.
Bashkortostan's Deputy Health Minister Eugen Kustov said Russian specialists have worked in 31 healthcare organizations in 3 main areasm including training for doctors on biological safety and epidemiological control, recommendations on changes in the clinical protocols on treatment of coronavirus patients, development of the list of actions to prepare the national healthcare system for possible deterioration of epidemiological situation.
Russian specialists examined more than 4,000 patients. 615 patients left hospitals with their assistance and 594 patients more received treatment leading to their recovery.
