Magnitude 5 earthquake jolts Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The magnitude 5 earthquake was registered at 3.58 a.m. of August 16 in Kyrgyzstan, the Seismology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences reported.
The epicenter of the earthquake was on the Kyrgyz-Chinese border, 9 km to the south-east of Nura village, 90 km to the south-east of Gulcha village, 140 km to the south-east of Osh.
The earth tremors were felt as 4 scores in the villages close to the epicenter.
