Russian medical professionals conclude their mission to Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Russian medical workers have concluded their mission to Kyrgyzstan with the press conference held on August 16.
The team leader of one of the groups, Bashkortostan's Deputy Minister of Health Eugen Kustov, said the medical workers have worked in 31 healthcare organizations in all regions of the country.
"Our doctors together with Kyrgyz medics were in red zones, treating patients. Besides, we exchanged experience with Kyrgyz colleagues. Another our task was to organize epidemiological control system, when medical workers would be protected and would not catch coronavirus," Eugen Kustov said.
The Russian specialists examined more than 4,000 patients.
Pulmonoligst Lilia Kozyreva said she provided consultations in treatment of patients with severe forms of coronavirus and examined patients in the red zone.
"We revised treatment every day. We worked on rehabilitation of patients with coronavirus. Russian specialists participated in development of a new clinical protocol for coronavirus treatment. Kyrgyz doctors have courage, patience and strive to learn the latest information about coronavirus in the world. I think our joint work brought the results we have for today," she said.
