AKIPRESS.COM - The team of Russian medical professionals left Kyrgyzstan for Bashkortostan upon successful completion of mission here, the Ministry of Health reported.
Bashkortostan doctors highly valued work of their Kyrgyz colleagues, Health Minister Sabirjan Abdikarimov said.
Russian medical professionals worked next to their Kyrgyz colleagues in hospitals across Kyrgyzstan, the Minister said.
Health Minister Abdikarimov presented the certificates of merits, gifts to the Russian medics. They also received letters of gratitude from people of Kyrgyzstan, felt slippers from Tumar and other souvenirs to remind about Kyrgyzstan.
Bashkortostan's Deputy Health Minister Eugen Kustov thanked people of Kyrgyzstan for hospitality and kindness.
"Kyrgyzstan has become a second home for us. There are lots of qualified doctors loving their profession here. We highly regarded their big work in COVID-19 battle. We will miss a clean air and beautiful mountains of Kyrgyzstan. We fulfilled all the tasks in full. We are proud of having worked with our Kyrgyz colleagues in coronavirus combat," Eugen Kustov said.
The mission of Russian medical professionals in Kyrgyzstan lasted 25 days. They have worked in more than 30 healthcare organizations of the country. More than 4,000 patients were examined by them.
