Kyrgyzstan to hold border talks with Tajikistan, Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today held the virtual meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Akram Madumarov, the president's press service reported.
The meeting focused on border security, facilitation of cross-border cooperation, socio-economic development of Batken region.
Kyrgyzstan will hold talks with Uzbekistan and Tajikistan at the level of Deputy Prime Ministers soon, Akram Madumarov said.
President Jeenbekov noted importance of intensified work of the intergovernmental commission for delimitation and demarcation of Kyrgyz-Uzbek and Kyrgyz-Tajik borders amid coronavirus pandemic.
The President said all possible efforts should be made to facilitate development of Batken region. Despite budget deficit, all programs on development of Batken region will be financed in full, President Jeenbekov promised.
