Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in hospital after poisoning

AKIPRESS.COM - Russian politician and leader of opposition Alexei Navalny was sent to hospital in Omsk after poisoning, his press secretary Kira Yarmysh said on Twitter. "Today Navalny was returning in Moscow from Tomsk. He felt worse during flight. The plane landed in Omsk urgently. Alexei has toxic poisoning. We're in ambulance now on our way to hospital," she wrote.
"When Alexei was in detention room a year ago, he was also poisoned. It's obvious that the same thing happened now. We think that Alexei had poison in his tea, because it was the only thing he drank this morning. Doctors say the toxin adsorbed faster through hot liquid. Now Alexei is unconscious," Yarmysh added.
She later said that Navalny was in intensive care.
