AKIPRESS.COM - The chief of the Omsk hospital, where Alexei Navalny was taken in coma, said the main version of possible diagnosis is carbohydrate metabolism disorder.
Such condition may be caused by abrupt fall of glucose in blood, he said.
"We have several versions of diagnosis. The main of them is carbohydrate metabolism disorder," the hospital chief said.
It was reported earlier toxins were not found in blood samples of Navalny.
Navalny felt bad on plane en route from Tomsk to Moscow. The plane had to land in Omsk and the main opposition leader was taken to the intensive care unit of Omsk hospital. He still remains in coma. His allies suggested Navalny might have been poisoned. His press secretary Yarmysh said Alexei Navalny just had tea at Tomsk airport prior to departure.
Germany sent a special plane intended for transportation of patients in coma to airlift Navalny to Berlin. However, Omsk hospital doctors said Alexei Navalny's condition is unstable for transportation.
