Mongolia to start vaccination against flu in September

AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolia will start vaccination against flu on September 15, Ministry of Health representative D. Narangerel told a briefing. Mongolia bought 120,000 vaccine doses from pharmaceutical company approved by WHO.
Global Vaccination Alliance will provide 80,000 shots. Mongolia will receive 200,000 vaccine doses in total by September 15.
Medical workers, elderly people over 65 years old and children will be vaccinated first.
The government plans to pay for vaccination from state budget and announce tenders, D. Narangerel noted.
Vaccination campaign will be bigger than last year, which will help to stop flu spread.
