Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan discuss border delimitation and demarcation

AKIPRESS.COM - Joint intergovernmental Tajik-Kyrgyz commission on consideration of bilateral issues met in Khujand. Vice Prime Minister of Tajikistan Azim Ibrohim and Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Akram Madumarov co-chaired the commission, Asia-Plus reported.
The Tajik side initiated phone talks between co-chairs Azim Ibrokhim and Akram Madumarov on August 24.
Sides discussed the bilateral agenda of Tajik-Kyrgyz relations, including issues of delimitation and demarcation of the state border.
Importance of continued outreach work with population of border areas until demarcation of the state border was underlined.
