More than 100 gather outside Central Election Commission in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 100 have gathered outside the Central Election Commission today in Bishkek.
The CEC working group is holding meeting since 4.00 p.m. concerning Kyrgyzstan party.
Media representatives and representatives of other political parties were invited to attend the meeting.
The information spread across social media yesterday claiming Kyrgyzstan party was late with submission of documents for registration of candidates before 6.00 p.m. of August 24.
The meeting of Central Election Commission Chair Nurjan Shaildabekova and representatives of several parties and activists was held in in the night of August 25. According to security cameras, the party brought its documents at 6.02 p.m. The documents were submitted not by the authorized representative of the party. The Central Election Commission said the clock is fast. However, changes were seen in the log of acceptance of documents from 6.00 p.m. to 5.59 p.m.
Representatives of other parties demanded from the Central Election Commission to exclude Kyrgyzstan party from the race for violations.
Kyrgyzstan party leader Kanat Isaev said this morning the documents were submitted in time. They were brought by proxy person of the authorized representative of the party.
