Uzbekistan reports 141 new COVID-19 cases, 40,195 in total

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan reported 141 new coronavirus cases by the morning of August 27. The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases rose to 40,195, Ministry of Health says. New cases include 90 in Tashkent, 15 in Kashkadarya region, 13 in Samarkand region, 10 in Tashkent region, 5 in Bukhara region, 3 in Surkhandarya region, 3 in Navoi region, 2 in Fergana region. All are contacts of confirmed cases.
36,562 people recovered from coronavirus. Death toll reached 295.
3,338 patients remain in hospitals. 294 of them are in serious condition, 139 in critical condition.
