Budget deficit of Uzbekistan exceeds $650 million in H1

AKIPRESS.COM - The public budget revenues amounted to 58.157 trillion ($5.6 billion) in the first half of this year, Uzbekistan's Finance Minister Timur Ishmetov said at the session of the Legislative Chamber of the Parliament of Uzbekistan.
This is for $700 million more than in the previous year, according to the Finance Minister.
The budget expenditures made 64.879 trillion soums ($6.3 billion). The budget deficit made 6.772 trillion ($654.4 million) or 2.6% of GDP.
The budget deficit was covered following inssuance of treasury bonds for $321 million and for $321 million from funds obtained from international financial institutions for budget support.
