Russia reports first coronavirus re-infection

AKIPRESS.COM - One coronavirus re-infection case was confirmed in Russia, senior specialist of the Gamaleya Epidemiology and Microbiology Research Center Fedor Lisitsyn said.
148 days passed between infection and reinfection, he said.
"One case of coronavirus re-infection was proved now," Lisitsyn said on Russia 24 TV channel.
He added another possible coronavirus re-infection case is considered in Tuva, re-infection is yet to be determined, he said.
Governor of Republic of Tuva Sholban Kara-ool said earlier he had retested positive for coronavirus infection.
