Court brings Butun Kyrgyzstan party back to parliamentary race

AKIPRESS.COM - The administrative court of Bishkek today sustained the claim of Butun Kyrgyzstan party seeking to recognize the decision of the Central Election Commission to deny registration of party's candidates to run in the parliamentary elections as unlawful.
The administrative court found violations in actions of the Central Election Commission.
This means Butun Kyrgyzstan will run in the 4 October parliamentary elections.
On September 3, the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan denied registration of the list of candidates of Butun Kyrgyzstan. The party in return filed a claim in protest against the decision.
The court started consideration of the claim on September 7 and continued its consideration on September 9.
Parliamentary election campaigning has started since September 4 in Kyrgyzstan.
