Over 900,000 to be vaccinated against flu in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 900,000 people will be vaccinated against flu, Disease Prevention and Epidemiological Control Department Director Abdykadyr Joroev said.
Over 119,000 doses of flu vaccine will arrive in mid-September following the first tender held, he said.
The second tender will be announced for purchase of 700,000 doses of flu vaccine. The bids will be unsealed on September 21.
60,000 doses of American flu vaccine are expected before October 27 and 10,000 doses until November 1, he said.
Besides, 20,000 doses of pneumococcal vaccine will be purchased for vaccination of vulnerable groups of population.
