Kyrgyz Health Ministry reports about decline in COVID-19 incidence rate

AKIPRESS.COM - COVID-19 incidence rate is declining in Kyrgyzstan, Health Minister Sabirjan Abdikarimov told a press briefing today.
560 coronavirus cases were registered for the week preceding last week and 470 case were registered last week, he said.
8,106 tests for COVID-19 were conducted on the 24th week and 3.3% of them were positive.
7,342 tests were made on the 25th week and 2.3% of them were positive.
8,365 tests were made on the 26th week and 1.8% of them were positive.
"Also, there is reproduction number. If this number is above 1, it speaks of growth of incidence rate, if it is less than 1, this means decline in incidence rate, if it is equal to 1, it means stability. Since July 25, we observe decline in incidence rate, we have 0.8, 0.6, 0.5 reproduction number," the Health Minister said.
