AKIPRESS.COM - All disinfectant tunnels are prohibited in Uzbekistan following recommendations of the World Health Organization, the special commission of Uzbekistan reported.
The Ministry of Health promised to provide the details behind prohibition of disinfectant tunnels across the country.
The Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan earlier admitted ineffectiveness of disinfectant tunnels in COVID-19 fight and possible negative effects for human health.
The World Health Organization said earlier spraying disinfectants outdoors and enclosed settings is ineffective to stop COVID-19 and may cause harm for eyes, respiratory tract or skin.
