AKIPRESS.COM - A special system is created in Kyrgyzstan to automate work of school libraries. The system will support creation of the database of textbooks and learning guides, which will allow to track their supply, the Ministry of Education and Science announced.
Libraries of 2,138 schools will receive a computer, printer and scanner with barcode each.
The information on 6 million textbooks and 2 million rented textbooks was already entered into the system.
The fees collected from textbook rental will be used for printing new textbooks.
