Construction of new road to Kara-Keche coal field to be carried out 24h a day

AKIPRESS.COM - The talks were held on construction of the road to Kara-Keche coal field 24 hours a day, Kyrgyz Komur State Enterprise said. Construction of a new road was supposed to take at least one week before. However, since the land and rocks keep moving, construction will last 10-15 days. The new road will run along the mountain for 3.2 km.
The road will be 6-8 m wide.
The power transmission lines will be stretched from another side of the river due to threat of rockfall.
A new road is built after the previous one was blocked by slided rocks and land. A special commission found it is impossible to clear the road from slided rocks and land.
