Kyrgyzstan expects over 905,000 doses of flu vaccines

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan has so far received 119,640 doses of flu vaccines, Disease Prevention and Sanitary Control Department's epidemiologist Chinara Mambetalieva said.
These vaccine doses were distributed among the regions.
Flu vaccination already started in Bishkek and Chui region, Mambetalieva said.
Over 905,000 doses of flu vaccine will arrive in Kyrgyzstan in total.
"2.5-3% of population were vaccinated every year. This year we will have a broad coverage - 12-13% of population will be vaccinated," the epidemiologist said.
