648 people prosecuted in Kyrgyzstan for corruption and official crimes in 2.5 years

AKIPRESS.COM - In the last 2.5 years, Kyrgyz courts have brought 648 people to justice for official or corruption-related crimes, Prosecutor General Otkurbek Jashmitov said during the Security Council meeting on September 17.
334,519,000 soms in damages were compensated by these persons.
IN 2018, 2019 and 8 months of 2020, 5.826 billion soms have been compensated to the state for such crimes.
In 2018, the damage from criminal cases amounted to 3.209 billion soms, and 2.149 billion soms were compensated.
In 2019, the damage amounted to 9.734 billion soms, and 3.144 billion were compensated.
In the first 8 months of 2020, the damage topped 706 million soms and 532 million soms were compensated.
