Over 508,000 receive benefits in Kyrgyzstan as of Sept 1

AKIPRESS.COM - The total number of recipients of state benefits as of September 1 made 508,200, the Ministry of Labor and Social Development reported.
The recipients of child benefits for poor families made 322,200. The average size of child benefit for poor families made 870 soms (about $11).
93,200 people receive social benefits, who do not have pensions. The average size of this social benefit made 3,082 soms (around $40).
92,800 received newborn benefits.
Some 5.066 billion soms (around $64.159 million) were allocated from the central budet for payment of benefits, including 2.304 billion soms ($29.187 million) for child benfits for poor families, 2.39 billion soms ($30.266 million) for social benefits, 372.5 million soms ($4.717 million) for newborn benefits.
