Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan infected with COVID-19 has died at age 55

AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Uktam Barnoev died on September 20 at age 55.
It was announced in July that the Deputy Prime Minister tested positive for coronavirus infection.
From December 2016 to February 2020, Uktam Barnoev served as Bukhara region governor. Since February 2020, he was Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan for development of agrarian and food spheres. Since July 2020, he was also chairman of Horse Breeding and Horse Sport Federation of Uzbekistan.
