European Union, Turkmenistan discuss ties

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov received Ambassador of the European Union to Turkmenistan Diego Ruiz Alonso. They exchanged views on a wide range of issues of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU, the Turkmen foreign ministry said.
It was proposed to create a roadmap for EU-Turkmen cooperation by the end of this year in such priority areas as energy, transport, trade and education.
The implementation of the Preparedness and Response Plan of Turkmenistan for Acute Infectious Disease, where the main directions of joint activities on the restoration of socio-economic indicators in post pandemic period were outlined, was also discussed at the meeting.
