Kyrgyzstan approves new rules for border crossing

AKIPRESS.COM - The nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment has approved the protocols for crossing the borders of Kyrgyzstan in the air and on the ground.
Passengers of international and domestic flights are required to wear face masks and maintain a social distancing.
Temperatures of passengers will be tested. They will be asked to complete special forms.
Citizens of Kyrgyzstan arriving in Kyrgyzstan by ground transport will undergo rapid or PCR test for coronavirus infection in case they do not have medical certificate with negative PCR test results for COVID-19.
Passengers without any symptoms will be allowed to continue their route further. Persons with coronavirus symptoms will be taken under medical observation.
Citizens of Kyrgyzstan arriving in Kyrgyzstan by plane should comply with all sanitary norms. Those having coronvirus symptoms will be tested for COVID-19, who will remain in the observation facility until delivery of test results. Citizens without symptoms should go into self-isolation at home for 14 days.
Foreign nationals are allowed to enter Kyrgyzstan upon presentation of medical certificate with negative PCR test results for coronavirus infection for the last 72 hours.
The protocol for border crossing by plane comes into effect within 10 days. The protocol for crossing the border by ground transport became effective since September 26.
