Work of public transport stopped in Batken amid resurgence in COVID-19 cases

AKIPRESS.COM - Several restrictions were re-introduced throughout Batken region due to worsening of COVID-19 situation, the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment reported.
The work of public transport in the town, between districts and regions was stopped since September 28.
Livestock markets were shut down.
Friday prayers are not allowed in mosques, the daily and Friday prayers are recommended at home.
Control over compliance with mask requirements has been tightened.
Nationals of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan crossing the border into Batken region should present medical certificates with negative PCR test results for COVID-19 made no earlier than 3 days ago.
Governors of districts and mayors of towns wil inspect shopping centers, stores, canteens, public places to check compliance with sanitary requirements. The public places will be disinfected.
Political parties are required to ensure compliance with COVID-19 precautionary measures at their campaigning events.
