Tourism sector of Kyrgyzstan will need 2-3 years to return to its previous positions

About 15-20% of travel agencies switched to other fields of activity during the pandemic.
More than 180 thousand people in Kyrgyzstan are employed in the tourism industry.
"Although the tourism sector is considered the most profitable and attractive sector, there was no support from the government for tourism," he said.
Delaying the submission of reports is not providing support for the tourism, he said.
"There is no point in saving money, but having to pay after 3-4 months. We do not think that it was support from the tax authorities," he said.
