Illegal tree felling in Kyrgyzstan causes 725,000 soms damage

AKIPRESS.COM - Forest and conservation workers uncovered 65 facts of violations of enviromental protection regulations in the first half of this year, which cased the damage of more than 2.451 million soms, the State Environmental Protection and Forestry Agency reported.
48 facts of illegal tree felling were registered, which caused the damage of 725,300 soms. 992 trees were cut. Their total volume made 104.7 cbm.
287,100 soms were obtained in fines for 25 violations of environmental protection regulations.
