Schools in Kyrgyzstan to be disinfected after election day to prepare for reopening

AKIPRESS.COM - All schools in Kyrgyzstan will be disinfected on October 5 after the parliamentary election day and will prepare for reopening for students of grades 1-6, Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov told a briefing today.
Schools having from 200 to 500 students will have a usual learning process. Schools having 500 students and above will work in 2 shifts.
"The Ministry of Education will provide the detailed information on this issue. All these requirements draw upon the protocol of the Ministry of Health and are aimed st safety of children," Boronov said.
Depending upon weather conditions, homeland studies, ethics, physical education and safety basics for life may be taught outdoors.
"Any mass events at schools are prohibited. Third persons, parents among them, are prohibited to enter school. Classrooms should be ventilated, disinfected, all should wear masks," Prime Minister Boronov said.
The territory of the school and sport grounds will be regularly disinfected. School workers and students will undergo health status assessments every day.
