Central Election Commission explains video of ballots cast by polling station commission members

AKIPRESS.COM - The video showing the polling station commission members casting ballots one by one into automated ballot box was spread across social and local media, Central Election Commission Vice Chairman Abdyjapar Bekmatov told a press conference today.
He said this happened at the polling station No. 7364 in Jail district of Chui region.
"Polling station election commission members Urmat Kakeyev and Jyldyz Kerimkanova in presence of observers cast ballots. Those were ballots of voters who voted at home outside polling stations the day earlier. The ballots were cast in accordance with the decision made by commission members and observers," he said.
