AKIPRESS.COM - The Interior Ministry has urged protesters to leave Ala-Too square. There are drunk people among protesters, who attempt to disturb public order, the Interior Ministry's press service reported.
"In case of threat to health of citizens or other destructive actions, responsibility will rest on organizers of the rally, particularly, leaders of several parties and their active members. We urge protesters to disperse in order to ensure safety for people and not disturb them," the Interior Ministry stated.
Around 6,000 people were on the square at 7.30 p.m.
Protesters demand to declare the parliamentary elections void and to schedule new elections.
Four political parties won seats in Parliament, including Birimdik, Mekenim Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyzstan and Butun Kyrgyzstan.
