Young people take over Naryn region administration office, region's government resigns

AKIPRESS.COM - A group of young people entered the building of the Naryn region's administration, Turmush regional news service reports from scene. Administration building is located in Naryn town.
The protesters demanded local leaders to step down voluntarily.
Several leaders, including the governor, resigned.
On October 5 evening, thousands of protesters took to central square in Bishkek to protest against the results of parliamentary elections. Clashes occurred between riot police and protesters. Some 590 were reported injured and 1 civilian reported dead as of 8.00 a.m. October 6, according to the Ministry of Health.
By the night, a group of unknown people took over the White House. Jailed politicians, including ex-President Almazbek Atambayev and ex-Prime Minister Sapar Isakov, were freed.
