AKIPRESS.COM - The massive protest action was held on October 5 at Ala-Too square. More than 6,000 protested against parliamentary election results.
At around 8.00 p.m. protesters headed to the White House. Police started dispersing demonstrators. Clashes between demonstrators and police forces lasted until 3.00 a.m. The demonstrators then took over the White House.
Several opposition members proclaimed themselves ministers and heads of government agencies.

A group of people reached the General Prosecutor's Office. The meeting is held inside on who will be acting prosecutor general - Almambet Shikmamatov, who already proclaimed himself prosecutor, or Syimyk Japykeyev, Chon Kazat party member.

People gather outside the mayor's office in Kara-Balta. They named themselves as representatives of Chon Kazat party and youth patrol.

A rally is ongoing at the central square in Osh. MP Asylbek Jeenbekov said the country should develop in line with the main law, illegal actions are inadmissible.

Bishkek mayor's office was taken over, mayor Aziz Surakmatov told AKIpress. The mayor said he keeps working remotely.
