AKIPRESS.COM - The massive protest action was held on October 5 at Ala-Too square. More than 6,000 protested against parliamentary election results.
At around 8.00 p.m. protesters headed to the White House. Police started dispersing demonstrators. Clashes between demonstrators and police forces lasted until 3.00 a.m. The demonstrators then took over the White House.
Several opposition members proclaimed themselves ministers and heads of government agencies.
