Unknown storm and rob state-run coal mine in Naryn region

AKIPRESS.COM - The unknown persons stormed and robbed the branch of the Kara-Keche state coal mine, the Kyrgyzkomur state enterprise press office said on October 6.
On October 6 at about 15:00, the Kara-Keche branch located in Jumgal district of Naryn region was stormed by a crowd of about 100 unknown people.
The coal mine was reportedly stormed by crime boss nicknamed Sayak. The attackers took money and proceeds from the sale of coals worth over half a million soms from the branch's cash office employees.
They also forced a branch director, chief engineer and other top managers to resign. The situation negatively impacts on the heating season 2020-2021, the statement said.
