President Jeenbekov ready to hold talks with all political forces

AKIPRESS.COM - "This is illegal seizure of power. The yesterday events showed the aim of those coming to the rally is not only abolishment of the election results, but destabilization of the situation in the country," President Sooronbai Jeenbekov said in an interview with the Kyrgyz service of BBC. "Despite my powers are limited by the Constitution, I was accused of many things, that I intervene into work of the Prime Minister, but I mostly focused on improvement of socio-economic situation," the President said.
"Of course we could prevent this. Respective agencies needed to work. Probably, I had to hold more talks with political forces. Unfortunately, these events have happened. But any way I am the legitimate President now," he stressed.
President Jeenbekov said he is ready to unite political forces and is ready to hold talks with each of them. "This is my duty. I am ready," he said.
"My main role is to unite them all," the President said about political forces.
