Sadyr Japarov demands from self-proclaimed ministers to return seized posts to legitimate executives

AKIPRESS.COM - Sadyr Japarov in his televised appearance last night said the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan approved him as Prime Minister and this is why the legitimate power is established in the country [Speaker Abdyldayev explained Japarov was just nominated for the Prime Minister]. Japarov called upon public servants of all levels to come to work. In case a government agency does not have a leader who might have tendered resignation, his deputy will perform duties, Japarov said.
In case someone comes to establish a kind of people's control over some government agency, such persons will be held accountable in line with the law, Japarov said. He advised to return the seats to legitimate leadership immediately.
Japarov also urged all demonstrators in Bishkek to dissolve peacefully. Rally participants should resist provocations and refrain from looting, otherwise they will face sanctions according to the law, he said.
