Sadyr Japarov says he is legitimate Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Some big figures are behind the current situation in Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov told a press conference today in Bishkek.
"The parliamentary majority approved me as Prime Minister. I have been working since morning, coordinaing situation, but different forces try to make counter-revolution since morning. They occupied the Government House. The situation is difficult. 300 people entered the Government House," he said.
"I am legitimate Prime Minister. Some big forces are behind the ongoing events, they hand out weapon and want to spark war. If this does not stop, I will hold another press conference and will name them. I have a legitimate post. Lawmakers convened yesterday and appointed me as the Prime Minister officially," Japarov claimed.
He said he sees himself as a new politician and supports the demands of youth that new people should be appointed.
Japarov said he met with many political forces today and they all agreed Kyrgyzstan needs stability.
"All agreed but some forces do opposite things behind the back," Japarov stated.
He said he is ready to meet with all parties to discuss the current situation.
"I am alone in my team now, this is why I am ready to meet with all and if they are ready to take some direction, they are free to work," Japarov said.
When asked whether he met with Presiden Jeenbekov, Japarov gave negative answer.
"I do not know where he is. He is incumbent President, we should meet, I think he should resign himself," Japarov said.
