AKIPRESS.COM - "Torobai Zulpukarov, Asylbek Jeenbekov and Iskender Matraimov gave consent to Sadyr Japarov's prime ministership," MP Elvira Surabaldieva said.
These lawmakers disagreed with the suggestion to impeach President Sooronbai Jeenbekov, she said.
The parliamentarians decided to hold the session today, but the quorum was not met, since not all MPs attended.
MP Surabaldieva asked newly elected Speaker Abdyldayev if he received the proxy from Zulpukarov, Jeenbekov and Matraimov to vote for approval of Sadyr Japarov as the prime minister. The Speaker replied this is their choice.
"I am against Sadyr Japarov since his supporters are looting. Many MPs did not show up today, since they do not want to impeach the President," Surabaldieva said.
The meeting of the MPs ended around 10.00 p.m.
