Parliament and President are still legitimate in Kyrgyzstan - Ombudsman

AKIPRESS.COM - The Parliament and President are legitimate for now, Ombudsman Tokon Mamytov said today.
"The President is legitimate. He has not resigned. His resignation was not considered," the Ombudsman said.
The Parliament plays a key role in current situaiton. Stability of the country depends upon work of the Parliament. Lawmakers should convene, they should explain to candidates for Prime Minister that they should submit structure, composition of the government, program within 15 days, he said.
"The Parliament should approve the Prime Minister, program of the government, composition of the government. Either we should live in line with the laws or will violate Constitution and legislation, but this would lead to nowhere. We should live in line with the laws," the Ombudsman said.
